Something I once saw a while ago, read as:
Life: The ball’s in your court.
After death: It’s God’s turn.
The Bible says, it is appointed unto men to die once and then the judgement (Hebrews 9:27).
Points to ponder:
While we still have the breath of life, the ball is in our court, and after death it is only judgment. Are you prepared to face Jesus Christ as Judge? In other words, have you believed in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior? Only those who have faced and who acknowledge Christ as Savior now, while the ball is in our court, can face Jesus as Judge when it is his turn.
Hebrews 9: 27-28 (KJV)
27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:
28 So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.
