From the time, sin entered into the world, man has been known to give ‘excuses’ to justify their position. The first man Adam blamed it on his wife, Eve, who in turn blamed it on the serpent who beguiled her (Genesis 3). Human nature has the inherent tendency to make excuses when things go out of control. Human nature also has the tendency to make excuses to remain in control. This is why there are many who make excuses when they do not want to submit to the Lordship of Jesus Christ, because by doing so, they feel that they may lose control of their own lives. Atheists and Anti-theist all fall into this category, but according to the Bible, there is no excuse for not believing in Jesus. This is recorded in Romans 1:18-20 which states that the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, because God has showed unto them the invisible things of him from the creation of the world, even his eternal power and Godhead. By not believing, these ungodly and unrighteous people profess themselves to be wise, but instead become fools. The fool says in his heart there is no God (Psalm 53:1), but the fool really has no excuse.

What is your excuse? The Godhead is revealed in God the Father, Jesus Christ his Son and his Holy Spirit – One God, three persons, and you and I have no excuse for not believing in him. 2 Corinthians 6:2 says, today is the day of [your] Salvation i.e., Today is the day, you stop making excuses and submit to the Lordship and Salvation found in Jesus Christ. No one can make any excuses for not believing in Jesus; none at all, no one at all.
