The verb that God has for us is the same as the one that we ought to have for ourselves and it is stated in the first verse of the seventh chapter of the book of Genesis in the Holy Bible. The word is “Come”. The LORD said unto Noah, Come thou and all thy house into the ark;
God told Noah to come so that he and his household could be saved. Upon salvation, Noah worshipped God (Genesis 8:20).
Points to ponder:
Jesus said, “Come unto me all ye that are weak and heavy laden and I will give you rest.” Only in Jesus will you find true rest and when we have the rest for our souls (salvation), we ought to worship God as the Psalmist says in Psalm 95:6, “Come, let us worship and bow down, let us kneel before the Lord our God, our maker.”
